Synopsis:

Yusaku Hayakawa (Hayato Ichihara), an outstanding police officer born with a keen nose for crime and strong sense of justice, is officially appointed to 2nd Security Division, Equipment Unit 4: the Security Dog Training Center, where the best dog handlers and security dogs worked.

Yusaku is given an albino German Shepherd named Shiro, which others say can never become a genetic police dog due to a genetic disorder. Nevertheless, Yusaku and Shiro become attached as Yusaku trains Shiro to become a security dog. However, security dogs are considered as “equipment”, and they must become shields for humans when necessary, which Yusaku is against.

Meanwhile Natsuki Mizuno (Erika Toda), the No. 1 handler in the police force, devotes herself to rescuing lives and preventing crime. She believes in the potential of security dogs and fights towards their recognition within the police force. Thus, Yusaku and Natsuki’s prides clash due to their differing standpoints.

Then one day, a series of explosions take place and shakes up the Metropolitan Police Department…

追寻着父亲的脚步，热血正义的青年早川勇作（市原隼人 饰）踏上了警察的道路。虽然还只是普通巡警，但他始终将刑侦一课作为奋斗目标，为此经常擅自追拿犯人，虽小有功劳，可是个人主义的毛病分外凸现。不久，早川接到调令，结果并没有如愿进入刑侦一课，而是来到了专门负责训练警备犬的警备部警备二课装备第四系。

他终日跟随前辈水野夏希美（户田惠梨香 饰）学习训练装备犬的一切知识，心中满是愤慨与不满。而早川的搭档，则是此前被他救过的白化犬小白，“主仆二人”冥冥中有着相似落魄的命运。

与此同时，连环爆炸案相继发生，在刑警一筹莫展的时刻，时常被警局冷落的警备犬部队得到展现自己实力的机会……
