Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva (DVD)

Professor Layton (voiced by Yō Ōizumi) receives a letter together with tickets to an opera from Jenis Quatlane (voiced by Nana Mizuki), a former student of his who is now a famed opera singer. Jenis says that a friend of hers, who died a year ago, has now apparently re-appeared as a seven year-old little girl claiming to have obtained immortal life. To get to the bottom of this mystery, Layton, Luke (voiced by Maki Horikita) and Layton’s assistant Remi (voiced by Saki Aibu) set off to see the opera at the “Crown Petone Theater.”

A mysterious masked man appears on the stage and introduces everyone to a game whereby the winner will be awarded with eternal life. As it turns out, the audience at the theatre is in fact there to obtain immortality, rather than to see an opera.

Suddenly the theatre turns into a ship, and sails off into the Atlantic Ocean. The mysterious man presents a series of puzzles while Layton and eleven others pile into a lifeboat. This is Professor Layton’s most exciting adventure yet! How will Layton and young Luke solve the puzzles and avoid the dangers that this voyage is bound to present?

雷顿教授（大泉洋 饰）收到一封附上歌剧入门票的信，寄信人是雷顿以前的学生、如今的歌剧演唱家珍妮丝（水树奈奈 饰）。珍妮丝在信中说道，有位在一年前去世的朋友，突然以七岁少女的姿态出现在她面前并且称自己“已获得了永生”。 为了解开这不可思议的谜题，雷顿教授带着路克 (堀北真希 饰)、助手蕾米 (相武纱季 饰)，前往歌剧院调查。 抵达剧院的雷顿一行人发现，在座观众全都是为了得到永生，才聚集在此。这时，舞台上出现一名戴着面具的神秘男子，他宣布现场观众可参加一场以性命为赌注的解谜游戏，获胜者将得到永生。紧接着，生存游戏开始了……
