Synopsis:
A male body is discovered, strangled to death with his face pulverized beyond recognition and fingers burned to a crisp. Kaoru Utsumi (Kou Shibasaki), the local precinct detective is assigned to the case. Clueless, she seeks advice from the brilliant physicist, Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama), also known as Detective Galileo.

After analyzing the case, Yukawa suspects Ishigami (Shinichi Tsutsumi). whom he regards as a true mathematician genius. Elaborate bluffs, false testimonials, loopholes in logic all begin to appear in Detective Galileo's way as if intentionally placed as a challenge.

A battle of wits is about to breakout between the brilliant physicist and genius mathematician!
